Hi Tom, remarkable work counting and tracking all these birds in so little time. You may have meant to write ” Sedge wren” on number 95 or 96- your choice. I am curious to know what species are next on your list. You are doing a great job posting about all the birds we love to see on the daily basis. Marcello

  2. I found your blog through ‘Freshly Pressed’ and have found it really restful just looking at the pictures of these stunning birds. Some are similar to ones here across the pond, others less so – what a gift from God indeed! Thanks for a bit of light relief (if awe & wonder can be so classified) :).

    Hi Tom,
Do you know what the protocol for indicating a rare bird in PBCounty? I found a White-Crowned Pigeon – believe to be a female at Spanish River Park. You might want to check that out. I have a photo if you want to see it. It’s on a very tall Strangling Ficus tree across the street from the children’s playground. Check it out! I showed it to Linda on Saturday and she seemed to not know if it was the species but I KNOW IT IS because of its unmistakable features on the head.
You are always talking about your good friends on your posts…so if you find that bird will you “make me famous” in your blog LOL
    Best regards,
    Marcello Gomes
